The Legal Department’s functions include: counseling on and coordination of corporate issues; internal legal advice for all aspect of the company’s business; attending to legal, regulatory and administrative proceedings; monitoring land title-clearing proceedings; obtaining and renewing legal permits and licenses; supporting the development of norms in the sector and complying with legal norms; providing legal support to the Kaa Iya Foundation; custody of the company’s legal documents; administering the keys to the Right Of Way; and providing legal counsel in general with respect to all the obligations and rights the company has acquired through the current regulations in Bolivian and/or transportation service contracts, among others.
