Although during 2007 the Legal Department managed to register a significant number of easement contracts in the property registration office (Derechos Reales), to date the registration of the easement rights of a number of properties whose title-clearing processes have not concluded are still pending.

On its part, the Legal Department constantly follows-up on those processes, carrying out every possible coordination procedure to speed them up; however, there are certain difficulties and external limitations that are beyond the company’s control and which cause delays in the advancement of the title-clearing process and the conclusion of those that are pending.

In 2008 the Legal Department will continue with the challenge of trying to finish all of the title-clearing processes and register the respective easement rights, in order to thus guarantee the investment the company has made in
